Buy an Engraved Brick
When you buy a personalized brick, your name or the name of a loved one will be made a permanent part of the Center's pathways. By supporting the Friends of the Western North Carolina Nature Center, this program allows the Friends to provide financial resources to the Nature Center.
Whether you are honoring a friend, client, family member or celebrating a special occasion, our engraved bricks make a wonderful and lasting gift.
With the purchase of two or more bricks you may purchase a Friends membership for half price.
**Note: Although bricks will be engraved and installed in a timely manner, the date of placement cannot be guaranteed due to requirements of the engraver and the necessity of bringing in a contractor to install the bricks. Donors will be notified when their brick has been installed.
Buy an Engraved Brick $100.00
You may have your 4" x 8" brick inscribed "In Honor Of someone". Please make certain that you include "In Honor Of" or "In Memory Of" as the first line of the three lines if you want it to be a part of the engraving.
Buy a Child's Artwork Brick $135.00
Each child’s artwork brick is 4” x 8”. Specific special instructions apply for making the artwork for these special bricks. Please call the Friends office at (828) 259-8092 for details.
Buy a Corporate Brick $150.00
Each corporate brick is 8” x 8” and may include a corporate logo. Specific special instructions apply for making the artwork for these special bricks. Please call the Friends office at (828) 259-8092 for details.
