Mountain Safari: A Party at the Nature Center
Please join the Friends of the WNC Nature Center for a one-of-a-kind social adventure! Dress in your best safari gear and party with the animals. Those in safari attire will be entered into a special raffle!

Additional entertainment with Rob Russell, Bhangra Dancers featuring Christine Garvin and Diana McCall, and drumming by Terry Lee Edgerton, plus special animal encounters with your wild friends at the Center!
Come enjoy the otters, cougars, bears and wolves while enjoying the entertainment, food and drink!
Included in the admission, you will enjoy wonderful food and drink generously donated by Cafe Azalea, Chili's, Edna's of Asheville, Fig Bistro, The Marketplace and Ultimate Ice Cream. Come early to get a limited release bottle of Rufus Red Ale thanks to Asheville Brewing Company in honor of the Year of the Red Wolf!
We will have an auction and raffle to raise funds for projects at the Nature Center like a permanent butterfly exhibit, new visitor center and new animal exhibits.
