Festival of Knowledge a big hit for participants and public!
Science discovery and creativity at its finest; the Festival of Knowledge once again shows kids how to learn and have fun at the same time!
This year's Festival of Knowledge brought together 11 entries from Asheville, Burnsville, Bostic, Arden, Weaverville, and Bakersville. This science based contest is designed to enhance student's learning in several school subjects including math, English, natural and cultural sciences, as well as the arts, research methodology, and grammar. Participants made their 3-dimensional creations at home, bringing them to the Nature Center on Saturday February 16 for a day of sharing, education and prizes. and Best In Show goes to Tri-County Christian School with a group project on the Velvet Ant.
