"Wonders of Water"

Our planet is covered by vast oceans and our land is crisscrossed with creeks, streams and rivers, pocked with ponds and lakes that  feed our atmosphere with moisture, providing us with rain and snow throughout the year.  How does it cycle on our planet?  Discover this and many more aspects of water during our special event, The Wonders of Water on August 9, 2008.

Educational programs, crafts and games will provide the "classroom" setting for this adventurous day of discovery. Visit the traveling exhibit on water sheds, the cyclic patterns of a drop of rain, and the cirulation pathways of moisture on our earth. This display will amaze you with fun facts - appropriate for all ages!  Presentation, display tables, environmental awareness groups and vendors will be here to share their knowledge and expertise on water, its quality and conservation.
