The WNC Nature Center presents
“Kiddy Kats: Discovering Wild Cats of North America”
sponsored by the AT & T Real Yellow Pages
Saturday September 20, 2008
from 10:00am – 3:00pm
There are 36 species of cats in the world, categorized into subspecies, and all are protected by their specific governing countries. Our three primary species of wildcats in North America include the bobcat, the cougar, and the Canadian lynx.
Come discover the “ghosts” of North America’s wilderness, our native cats. Join us for games, animal enrichment and presentations on these protected species. Our cougar and the bobcats will be given enrichment during the day, so come watch them romp, leap, and search for goodies in their enclosures as we treat them to something special.
Regular admission rates apply.
Members please use your Friends card for free admission.
