Admission is $9 for adults and $5 for children.  Members of the Friends of the Nature Center receive free admission.

The fun never stops with bluegrass music on the main stage, as well as clogging, balloon sculpting and storytelling. Children’s activities and educational programs abound with pony rides, the Pee Wee Mine, cake walks, face painting, pumpkin painting, children’s art and crafts, children’s games, and a wild hay jump. Miniature ponies, llamas and some special visiting animals will join the Nature Center just for the occasion.

New exhibitors may include a buttermaker and a felt maker. Other exhibitors include spinners, woodcarvers, natural dyers, Southeast Llama Rescue,  the Asheville Fire Department as well as a host of new ones. Parking has been improved due to overwhelming demand in previous years. Celebrate the Fall with Hey Day, fun for the entire family from little to big!

All proceeds benefit the College Internship program at the Nature Center.
